Central St. Giles, Camden, London
Central St. Giles in central London is more than just a new office building. Designed by Renzo Piano, one of the most influential architects of our era, an ultra-modern complex has been created in London's West End that combines office areas, retail businesses, restaurants, cafes, residential properties and public open spaces – a city within a city.

Managing a major building site in the middle of a pulsating city is no mean feat. All components therefore had to be as easy to transport as possible, and also had to be installed without the use of large machinery - just the job for RECYFIX channels. Light, flexible and also extremely stable and durable, HAURATON drainage channels made a good impression right from the start. Specially developed slotted covers with a neck height and slot width that were coordinated with the paving ensure that surfaces are both dry and safe. Stainless steel ECONOMY channels that were individually adapted to the radii of the revolving doors were used.
The following were installed:
- 600 m RECYFIX STANDARD 100
- 420 m of symmetrical slotted covers with special neck height
- 180 m of asymmetrical slotted covers with special neck height
- 15 ECONOMY heel-safe channels along the revolving doors
Lightweight products, a high degree of flexibility and maximum durability and safety; these are the decisive factors with which this project was acquired.
